Embracing The Legal Profession

New product

The uniqueness of Atty. Dizon’s “Embracing the Legal Profession” lies on the fact that it was able to combine both Legal Profession and Legal Ethics. It encompasses the “full cycle” of the legal profession commencing from the time a bar examinee files his Petition to Take the Bar Examinations to the time he becomes a full-fl edged member of the Philippine Bar. It goes further and discusses how to become a “good lawyer”; the duties and responsibilities of a lawyer to his client, to the society, to the courts and to the legal profession and provides pointers on how to stay true to one’s Lawyer’s Oath. Moreover, it also contains the Supreme Court’s latest rules and jurisprudence relating to disbarment as well as the Court’s exercise of its Constitutional mandate to regulate the legal profession in general.

“Embracing the Legal Profession” is a must-read for lawyers, bar examinees and law students. Bar examinees and law students would find Book I (Guidebook for Bar Examinees) very useful in their quest to hurdle the bar examinations which is often dubbed as the most diffi cult examination in the country. The lawyer would fi nd Book 2 (Legal Ethics at Your Fingertips – For Lawyers) very valuable in their legal practice.
