Deportation Proceedings

Deportation Proceedings (Practice, Precedents and Procedures), is a specialist's reference material. It traces significant milestones on the power of the President and the Commissioner of Immigration to deport aliens. It provides relevant rules, ruling and regulations on the conduct of deportation cases. It affords a quick-search manual for available remedies in deportation proceedings, for the prosecution and defense.

Deportation Proceedings (practice, Precedents, and Procedures) also contains insights on deportation ruling by the BI, DOJ, Office of he President, Cour of Appeals and the Supreme Court. And as a bonus, while I was BI's officer-in-charge, this book includes the 2011 Court of Appeals' decision upholding the controversial deportation of Taiwanese cybercriminals to the People's Republic of China.

Deportation Proceedings (Practice, Precedents, and Procedures) is perhaps a specialist's manual. I have no doubt that it will be warmly received by the members of the diplomatic and consular service, the national and local government institutions, law enforcement and intelligence agencies, the Philippine Bar, and the academe as well.
