The Indigenous Peoples' Rights Act (2021 Edition) Paper Bound

New product

No one better can provide an analysis, insight, and recommendations for implementation on the IPRA than her, who has been working with indigenous communities on the front lines for well over nineteen (19) years. In this book, Atty. Pimentel has provided a comprehensive and practical guide to the law as well as reference to international best practices. She imbued this book with her real-life experiences and aspirations for attaining the full potential of the law in safeguarding the cultural integrity and rights of our indigenous brothers and sisters. She has given a careful choice of authoritative opinions, policy instruments and experiential learnings from the field will be found in each chapter of the book in a reader-friendly narrative for a broad range of stakeholders.

Produced by a genuine advocate with a humble heart for the cause of one of the most vulnerable sectors of Philippine society. This book seeks to bridge the huge gap of understanding who indigenous peoples are, their rich culture and unique traditions as well as the rights afforded them as embodied in the IPRA.
