Immigration Rules, Proceedings and Laws on the Exclusion of Aliens at Phil Ports of Entry (2018 Edition) Cloth Bound

New product

This book is a reaction to the prevalent perception that immigration officers are mere automatons, who indiscriminately exclude aliens arriving at all Philippine ports of entry. On the contrary, they undergo a civil service-required training period covering laws, jurisprudence, rules and regulations on the exclusion of aliens at Philippine entry ports. This book testifies to their six months demanding academic and professional preparation.
This book is also a wake-up call to recusant immigration officers of the Bureau of Immigration. With the Supreme Court’s unprecedented ruling in Rosas vs. Montor and Sabdullah, GR 204105 [14 October 2015], incompliant immigration officers shall hopefully refrain from ill-advised, unregulated and wrongfully-established “practices” in the performance of their duties, and from here on exercise unparalleled extraordinary diligence before excluding aliens at Philippine entry ports.
