Following the success of my two (2) previous books—Police Examinations Reviewer (2009 & 2010 editions) and Comprehensive Reviewer for Career Service Examinations (2009), I again embarked on this project, which is more responsive to the ever changing needs of examinees.

For the past months, I have been asked by a number of PNP personnel to come up with a reviewer that will be of utmost help to the PNCOs and the PCOs who will be taking the NAPOLCOM promotional examinations; not to mention the thousands of Criminology Board hopefuls who will be taking the yearly Criminology Licensure Board Examination. This reviewer is defi nitely an effective and supportive material for those who aspire to pass the board examination.

Most of you are probably aware of the anomaly in the 2011 NAPOLCOM Examination wherein the results in some regions were invalidated because of the unprincipled behavior of some of the examinees. This reviewer will help avoid the recurrence of that unfortunate incident. Presented in this reviewer are more than 1,000 sample questions that focus on the prescribed coverage of the examination given by the NAPOLCOM. Thus, this reviewer presents informative, comprehensive, and up-to-date contents that you may familiarize yourself with.

NAPOLCOM examination has a very low yearly passing percentage of 9% to 16.37%. What could be the possible reasons for this? Those who have taken the examination for a number of times revealed that their reasons are insufficient  quality time to prepare, scarcity of excellent review materials, and lack of focus in taking the examination.

Consequently, the most identifiable culprits in the failure of some examinees in hurdling the entrance examination and even the promotional examination given by the NAPOLCOM can be summed up in three (3) words: Time, Materials, and Focus.

This book adopts the “Helpful Tips and Strategies in Taking Examinations” from my previous books, only this time, it will be presented in a sequence as to how should one be prepared “Before, During, and After the Examination.”
